LET'S FALL IN LOVE BUT I WANT MY 206 INTACT !!!

Let’s fall in Love but I want my 206 intact!!!

Nitin and Madhu were having a gala time, enjoying their clandestine live-together in Bangalore till Madhu’s parents smelt the smoke in Punjab. And then as the loins of Punjab came roaring to the Cosmo city of Bangalore, it was tough for Nitin to keep his 206 intact. Mostly was fractured and crumbled, but thank God he didn’t die. As for Madhu, no one knows till date what happened to her. She was last seen weeping as the train slowly left for her homeland.

I know what you might be thinking!  ‘Behencho Saale, what’s new in it?’ might be what’s hovering in your mind. It had been a common customary for ages to fall in love and break a few bones if you are lucky enough to stay alive. Who knows, you might end up into 300 distinct pieces and some noted Film-maker will make a movie on your gruesome death and ‘not a’ love story!

On one side, love brings with itself the most magnificent feeling on earth, on the other suicide, murder and honour killings have become the other name of it. Are we losing out something in our fast lives? Now-a-days, we want all and everything! And that too in a supersonic way.

Thanks to Mr.Zuckerberg, now it takes just 3 days to fall in love. The first day reserved for sending a friend request and the acceptance, the second for chatting and knowing each other. And then!!! The violin had already started playing. At first it goes fine and then suddenly all the problem starts. ‘You F**ker, you had sex chat with my best friend last night… You Bi**h, you are dating your frustrated Boss behind me…I will cut your balls if you go out with Nikita the next time…I will cut your throat if I see with Avinash again…’   It goes on. And then as if it was not enough, friends, parents, colleagues join. ‘ Abe baakwaas mal hein, kaha sein mila? …Nishaaaa!!! How can you date such a guy, OMG! my driver is even better…Banku, you have marry with Moti Aunty’s daughter…’ And slowly life turns into a living hell.

Once upon a time there was this sacred bible of the Hindus called ‘Bhagwat Gita’ (I used the term ‘Once upon a time’ as it’s mostly obsolete for the Facebook generation)  which said ‘There is only one happiness in life-To love and to be loved
Alas! How we had been chasing the materialistic aspect of love yet have forgotten its true sense. It’s a wonderful feeling to love and be loved, but at times when it turn soar we totally forget what love is all about. For, the sacred book says once again –

nainam chindanti shastrani
nainam dahati pavakah
na chainam kledayanty apo
na sosayati marutah

-The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind.

Twenty-first century’s technological prowess had made our lives faster, better and nicer. But are we truly heading towards a better future? I hope anyone reading this article searches the answer inside his hearts of heart. And I pray to God that the gruesome suicides and murders which happen every day in the name of love stops once and for all. Let’s there be no Neeraj Grover .And let’s some film-maker makes ‘A Love story’ the next time.
So now that you have understood, Let’s  all fall in love but I want my 206 intact !!!

  6. Thanks to you all... During my Engineering college days, A lot of painful events caused due to lost love disturbed me thoroughly. Fortunately I was not under its spell but after seeing a lot of friend’s plight I decided to write on. Even today, when I flip through the new papers or even surf the internet, gruesome suicides and murders on the event of broken love really baffles me. So, I urgently felt that I should pen down my feelings and...
